TB-500: A Research Guide

TB-500 is a synthetic analogue of Thymosin Beta-4, a peptide naturally present in human tissue that declines with age and injury. Research documents systemic, not just localized, recovery effects spanning muscle, connective tissue, and cardiac cells.

Mechanism

TB-500 sequesters G-actin monomers to regulate the actin cytoskeleton, a mechanism linked to improved cell migration and the flexibility and range-of-motion gains reported in study models. It circulates systemically and concentrates preferentially at sites of active inflammation rather than requiring local administration, distinguishing it from many other repair-focused peptides.
